This is a great, family owned restaurant with excellent food! The service was top tier! The cashier was very kind and helpful! Everyone was friendly and attentive! The meats were very tender! There are multiple choices for barbecue sauce. I chose a sweeter one and it was absolutely delicious! I had the baked beans as a side and they were yummy! They were a little sweet, very savory, and nicely thick. They have LOTS of cute pig decor all over the restaurant. There is a small parking lot out front.
Definitely the best BBQ I've had in Dayton. I could go into detail on the taste, but the second picture speaks for itself. Service was tremendous, felt like I was back home in the South.
First time going. Would definitely good back. The sweet sauce that came with it was good. I also tried carolina one, had a nice little kick to it. Tried the shredded chicken, had good flavor and was juicy and soft. Also tried the sliced brisket. It had nice flavor, not all fat like some places and not all soggy either. Was pretty good. They were all friendly folks in there too. Food came out fast. Give them a try!
Food was so good! I will definitely be back service was 10/10. Food came out so fast I was shocked, everything hot, it’s clean and all in all go try it. I prefer this over city barbecue or any other barbecue spot in the area. I killed this plate the proof is in this picture lol
Absolutely amazing food. Roasted potatoes where incredibly good. Best bbq I've ever had!!! Baked beans were delicious and corn bread was yummy as well!
I tried Fatback's Barbecue for the first time today (Wednesday at 1pm) It has a small eat in dining area with 6 tables that seat four people, highchairs are available. I love the decor (see attached pictures) The service was fast and friendly, and the food delicious 😋 The chopped brisket was moist and seasoned lightly, the potatoes were a one of a kind experience that I am happy to repeat. I love country green beans and these are my favorite. I'm so glad I found this place.
I’m sorry I didn’t take a picture of my food. My whole family ate their whole meal before I could snap that perfect pic! Everyone is incredibly nice, greeting you like a lost friend when you enter the door. Family owned and operated, it’s like coming home for Sunday dinner. (Just don’t come on sundays bc they deserve time off too) The decor is unique in all the right ways. No matter how many times we visit (and I can assure you it’s a LOT) we enjoy all the piggy paraphernalia 🐷 Now the food. I’ve never been I disappointed a single time with a single item. Yes they aren’t all my favorite but each have been made with love and pack flavor. My favorite is the pulled pork platter with some dry rub and that Carolina vinegar. Those roasted potatoes are fight worthy and a bite of slaw in between adds a nice fresh taste. I tell everyone about this place. Give it a try and enjoy.
Finally got a chance to try this place out. Thank the lord I did!!! Straight mom and pop vibes!!! I ordered the chopped pork (sold out of ribs)with Mac&cheese and the potatoes, my son ordered brisket with the potatoes. Food came out fast and hot. You know I had to taste test my sons!!! Anyways meat was tender, juicy and seasoned by a pro. The potatoes were soft like my pillow and seasoned to the max!!! The sauces were perfect pair ( I tried sweet and the warm and sweet) 10/10 recommend.
